Understanding Spiritual Truth
Is there God? If so, how does He allow suffering?
Is there meaning to things in life, or is it all random? Â Do I have free choice, or is it all predetermined?
Is Reincarnation true? What happens after Death?
I believe it’s not only possible, but expectable, to understand life’s longtime mysteries. The things that are always taken as metaphysical, unknowable, destined to stay perpetually shrouded in a cloud of mystery and uncertainty. Not only on a traditionally spiritual sense, but also the things you’d normally call “life’s mysteries”. Is there such a thing as the Bigfoot? Are there aliens? What happens at the bermuda triangle? Clarifying these mysteries in a clear, tangible, satisfying manner is why I hold in high esteem comprehensive channeled materials such as the Law of One.
Yet, spirituality itself is always at the core of everything. It holds the meaning of things. It holds the why. Nothing is really separate. Everything that’s part of reality has a reason to be, there’s a complex tapestry to the Cosmic Game. And if you dig deep enough, it all fits. With the advent of the Internet, information is already available to you. No longer does one have to travel the world for buried tomes and mystery libraries. It’s really only a matter of how much time are you willing to put into it, and of using your intuitive discernment. And after a certain point in your raising of awareness, you might develop psychic skills and receive information all by yourself, as well. This is the importance of the spiritual seeking.
My passion is for spirituality to be faced not as something grandiose, mystical or ominous, but as something you already Are. That is in the everyday, every-second of your conscious and unconscious life. That you can access and touch and relate to, without elaborate ritual or ceremony. That is there specifically to serve you, and of which you are an integral, deserving and inclusive part of. Inspiring, Uplifting, Supportive, Sacred, and deserving of Respect, yes. But also Accessible, Reachable, Practical, and down-to-Earth.
The Unavoidable Mysterious Nature of Reality
The role of the Human has always been to explore the dungeon. And the role of Spirit has always been holding the map and guiding the Human. One learns by living things seemingly blind-folded, while the other learns by guiding and supporting. One can’t do the role of the other. How can you learn lessons by doing things, when you already know the answer? And how could you stand in the teacher’s podium and doing the exam at the same time?
So to be Human has always meant there must always be a degree of mystery. Questions to ask, things to explore, answers to find. Or not. Or pretend you’re all alone fighting for your life by yourself in the dungeon. It doesn’t matter. It is, after all, the basis of all incarnation: to deeply explore a certain environment with certain rules, and in the process explore further deep within. And, to an extent, the questions and the answers will never truly end, because God is infinite, and so are you. You’ll never find the last wall, because there will never be one.
But, there sure is a point where you finally get to the goals you set yourself out to find in the first place. Learning never ends, but school does. And so does college. And so does university. The cycles may not stop, but there’s an end to each.
It is possible, and shall I go on a whim and say necessary, to unravel the things that have always been considered elusive, metaphysical, never-known-for-sure. About you, and about reality. Maybe not comprehending them to the most minute detail. Maybe you don’t need to understand all the details of how an automobile works: that’s something only mechanics and engineers need to (but nevertheless is accessible to just about anyone). Maybe not knowing all the details of the human body, which is something entrusted to doctors and physicians.
But not mystifying things either. You may not know exactly how a car works, but you do learn to use it, drive it, own it, and depend on it, don’t you? You may not be sure on how to medicate or perform surgery on yourself, but you do have a body. You do breathe, eat, sleep, feel things with it, don’t you? It’s not like you’re treating the car or the body as mysterious, spooky things! You handle them everyday – even if there are things you’ll never come to understand or control completely.
I’ve always felt unsettled by the commonly taken mysterious nature of spirituality, any spirituality. Since I was little, it always confused me that no-one could tell me for sure what’s “the truth”, or at least attempt to, in a palpable, concrete manner. It was always about personal, subjective faith, beliefs, and hope. Which is fine. Nothing wrong with faith. Or opinions. But it bugged me.
There is a difference between an opinion and a belief. One is a subjective view about something which exists; the other is an abstract supposition.
Reincarnation, karma, Soul, Higher-Self, energy, etc, are not Buddhist, Catholic, religious or New-Age things. It’s just how things work. Spirit and its “mechanics” and “laws” are there, always working in the background, weather you perceive them or not. And regardless of any human teachings and systems about them.
Spirituality has some typical stereotypes, pre-conceived ideas, to the average person. One of them is that you’ll never be quite sure, certain, of how things are. That no matter what you believe in, you’re always left living life by yourself. That there’s always that “mystery blanket” surrounding spiritual things, that neither science can prove, nor charlatans, not-so-judicious, and a little too excited humans, can add any credibility to. Thus, more than maintaining a healthy distance between the human role and the Spirit role, this idea does a harmful thing: it perpetually keeps Man away from Spirit, forever afraid of something he doesn’t know, and more importantly, can’t know.
Understanding How Spirit Works
You aren’t supposed to understand everything, not with your mental reasoning. You aren’t supposed to make efforts and “figure things out”. Live I’ve said, to the human there must always be a degree of uncertainty, things to discover. What I mean is, that there’s always a Spiritual Truth behind things. And you CAN get to it. This Truth has the power to heal you, and to free you.
I have a knack to get to the spiritual core nature and navigate it, explain It to others. And sometimes, if the heavens align, getting people to have that elusive “ah ah”, “wow”, or *gasp* moment, when you suddenly get it. It doesn’t need to be about some grandiose subject. Sometimes it’s just about a little fear, a little relationship, a little feeling.
I like to de-mystify spirituality, which otherwise can remain mystical, dark, uncertain, shaky, or unknown. Not because I need to, or that there aren’t others already doing their spiritual, sacred work. It’s just that it’s what I do. As long as spirituality is allowed to remain vague, uncertain, mysterious, ominous, it’s a deterrent for humans to reach, or get closer, to it, with practical, meaningful ways to their lives.
I believe there should come a point when you start understanding, as much as you’re allowed as a human, the nature of incarnation, karmic energy, past-lives, choice and potentials, angels, aliens, and all the spooky stuff. Not in a cryptic, encoded, reserved for the power of a very few, but as a very grounded, clear statement. This is like this. And not in a scary, frightening, overwhelming kind of way either.
I believe that the Truth always frees and always makes you feel more safe. I’s only when things are enveloped in a fog of mystery, or given as incomplete, partial truths, that things can come out as scary.
Because Truth from Spirit, which is not reachable from the mind alone, but from your beingness, from you Soul core, always frees you. Always. No exception. The Truth does indeed, set you free. This is the experience known as Epiphany, or the “Ah-ah moment”.
