What is a Starseed?

A Starseed is a spiritual being who chose to come to incarnate on Earth from higher stages of spiritual progression i.e. from Densities higher than the Earth’s current 3rd Density.

Therefore the term refers to a person who, despite being human, spiritually speaking is not “from” Earth. The concept carries the notion the spiritual self came or was seeded from “the stars”, meaning other planets and realities beyond our own throughout the Cosmos. On some level they will hold references of participating in and belonging to other societies, typically subconsciously, indirectly influencing and manifesting through their sensitivities, beliefs, priorities, and how they see the world.

Being a Starseed does not relate to how long you’ve been on Earth or how many past lives you’ve had. You can be a Starseed while still having had multiple incarnations on Earth. Thus, you may have a background of many lifetimes, or you may have arrived more recently, sometimes to the point this is your first life. But if you are a Starseed, you’re one regardless of when the decision was made to come to Earth. You don’t cease being a Starseed after the first incarnation; what determines being a Starseed does not change, and is not affected by, the number of lifetimes you’ve had. If you’re a Starseed, you’ve always have been one no matter how long you’ve been on Earth.

So, what makes someone a Starseed? What are the differentiating factors, if any, between Starseeds and non-Starseeds?

The truth is that, ultimately, all Souls aren’t from any given place i.e. a planet, realm, etc. but rather from the Creator/Source; all Souls in existence are aspects of Source, and their spiritual path will eventually lead them back to the God-state – or to “Home”, if you will. Thus, if could be said with validity “everyone is a Starseed”, meaning every single person ultimately came from Source, from the stars, etc.

Because of this, what one regards as a Starseed might to an extent come down to nomenclature/semantics, and to what each individual might regard as spiritually true and adequate. It is up to you where you want to draw your lines when establishing such definitions. That being said, to me this is an important term that represents certain specific attributes some individuals can have in their spiritual background.

My definition of Starseed is the spiritual self who arrived on Earth at any point starting from the beginning of the current 3D cycle or later, which largely includes the mythical civilizations of both Lemuria and Atlantis, from a Density/level of awareness higher than that of Earth. So we can have 4D Starseeds, 5D Starseeds, etc. depending on their origination. A key point here was the choice made on the spiritual level: a Starseed came to Earth to help this setting when they didn’t have to, rather than by impending spiritual necessity. Thus Starseeds are often referred to as “volunteer souls”, or “wanderers”. This is fundamentally different from non-Starseeds, who generally are in the course of pursuing the needs of their spiritual growth, but without necessarily having made the choice of where in the Cosmos to do so. Such a choice is a byproduct of the spiritual progress of the spiritual self, which generally opens and becomes available once they graduate, and gain access, to the fourth Density.

A Starseed is someone who unconsciously tends to have much higher standards relative to those of the Earth’s reality (broadly speaking, pertaining to all of the reality as a whole) and might feel they don’t quite belong. Note, again, a human being is a soul and as with any soul they’ll always spiritually seek, and therefore will likely always tend to hold a residue of dissatisfaction no matter who they are, what they do, or where they are. It’s just that Starseeds have a specific “brand” of yearning of someplace else – maybe the stars, maybe Heaven, maybe some unknown place they can’t even conceptualize – that I consider non-Starseeds to largely not share. This spiritual yearning, (generally) of a characteristic magical, “dreamy”, fantastical etc. nature, corresponds to their recollection of their spiritual origins from before Earth on an unconscious level.

This is my personal definition of what I regard as a Starseed; all those who do not fit the above criteria I would consider non-Starseeds. This would equate both to Souls who were already on Earth prior to the current cycle, and those who were taken over to Earth to continue their 3D cycles here. Now, you can of course play with variations of this concept. One example would be to regard as Starseeds only those who’s having their first life, or their first few lives, on Earth at this time. Further, there are souls on Earth who were brought to Earth at some point from other planets to continue their third Density journey on Earth; so in these cases you could also say such a person spiritually came from another planet to Earth, therefore they are a Starseed. Again, all of these would be perfectly fine. You’ll be correct and valid in determining what concepts you prefer to use – so as long as you’re aware of and accurately representing the diversity of spiritual backgrounds that human beings on Earth have.

To summarize, my definition of Starseed is someone a) who arrived during the last 3D cycle on Earth, b) from a Density and stage of spiritual development that was 4D or higher, and c) when they originally had the choice whether to volunteer to do so – to some extent. Sometimes “choice” is a loaded word that can have with several different interpretations; but this would be a matter for a different place and time. But for simplicity, if the spiritual self at some point had some degree of choice between being on Earth or not, I’d regard them as a Starseed.

Additionally, the word and concept also serve a secondary purpose: as an outlet, a “marker” or “signal”, for those Souls who begin to learn their spiritual past and start to put together the pieces from where they might have come from. With regards to this, I would say the interest in the concept of Starseeds alone, the level of curiosity or yearning towards the possibility of being one, will 99% of the time mean you’re likely to be a Starseed yourself. A non-Starseed usually will not hold an interest in this concept to any meaningful extent. In short, if you feel drawn towards being a Starseed, that means you likely are one.
