Quick Reading: Angel in the Statue

The following is a Quick Reading originally performed for a client. This is a reading of the Akashic Records that takes me a few hours to perform, and is delivered as text by email. All references to the person's identity were replaced with a fictional alias to protect their privacy. For the purposes of this publication, some portions of the original reading may have been rephrased, edited out, but no changes were made to the original meaning. Additional readings are published at the Patreon page. For more information about Akashic Records Readings in general, please see: Akashic Records Readings. For more information about Quick Readings specifically, please see: Reading Types at a Glance.

picture of an angel statueAs I connected with Catherine’s energy from afar, and proceeded to, figuratively speaking, “sit down” to receive the input, there was a component of charge to the energy. In my readings, such charge usually pertains to the intensity of important events and memories, as well as the energetic nature of those events. therefore being something I am relatively familiar in dealing with. Still, such energy usually requires, and takes time, to clear, declutter, simplify, in order for the information to become clearer to read and interpret, which only larger readings allow in more quantity. In addition, the reading itself also presented information that was fairly new and unfamiliar to me, at this time. As a result, please bear with me as the information is perhaps not as comprehensive or flowing as I would prefer. The following is my attempt to best convey the information I received.

Catherine’s Soul originates from the Angelic Realms, a reality to which she’s still [spiritually, emotionally, energetically] very close to. These are the realms of entities in service and support to incarnating human beings, always in the background to act in support of human life and reality, but without ever becoming involved directly in physical matter themselves. These beings are referred to as Angels in many spiritual contexts. Angels refer to the entities who don’t incarnate, while serving in support of those that do. You can also have “spirit guides”, and these can both serve and guide those who are incarnating, as well as also incarnating themselves. However, as they do incarnate, this places spirit guides in a category of their own. When I use the word “Angels”, or the Angelic Realms, I am referring to the overall hierarchies and roles of entities who, in a general sense, serve the Light, in support of human beings, mostly in a non-interventive, or interventive but in an extremely cautious, reserved manner.

The person now known in this lifetime as Catherine started incarnating herself only ‘recently’ – in a relative sense of the word, and compared to other Souls who also incarnate. This process began around the Middle Ages, on Earth, in Europe. Prior to this she could be considered an Angel, or an angelic entity. Even after beginning to incarnate, she can be said to have the Soul of an Angel, if you will, even if technically speaking she’s not currently part of their hierarchies, or at least, not in the same way as before.

The process by which Catherine began incarnating closely relates to a religious context regarding the understanding of the spiritual, namely that of the Christian Church in Medieval Europe. Somewhere in Europe [perhaps central or northern Europe] there was a small local church or chapel, and associated with that chapel there was a particular statue, which belonged to the religion of the time and place. The statue depicted a particular saintly figure and/or angel (the concept here is blurred) who received adoration by the local population, and had a significant reputation and following.

It is unknown to me the specifics of the story behind the figure the statue was meant to represent. That story was likely partially mythical – in other words, it was likely a mixture of several figures and stories whose details had been partially lost in time – perhaps also combined with the worshipping of a particular saint, or angel figure, that was more ‘native’ to the Church. The figure represented by the statue was feminine.

The Catholic/Christian Church has a close relationship, “conceptually”, or “energetically”, if you will, with the Angelic Realms. It’s not necessarily true that it portrays Angels in an objective and concise manner, nonetheless there is certainly a degree of proximity. It’s one of the religious contexts acknowledging the concept of Angels and of the Angelic Realms, if not, arguably, the one that does so more closely. It’s where the term “angel” comes from.

Over time, the local followers surrounding the location of the statue became used to see the saintly/angelic figure, represented by the statue itself, as an important and interventive part of their lives. They would travel to the statue and make requests and ask favors of it, that would benefit them and their lives. This belief would be reinforced, as some of the requests would seemingly come to fruition. When they did, the ‘fame’ of the statue would be justified, reinforced. Over time, this fame grew significantly.

The following information was what was relatively new to me. And so, again, I’ll ask to please bear with me as I try to make sense of it.

When human beings on their own Free Will deposit, over time, their attention, energy, thoughts, and focus, on something – it could be anything, existing within the Earth reality, such as for example an object, a statue, an item, sometimes an animal or a species of animal, a tree, a forest, a location, and so on – and they proceed to individualize it, i.e. lend it human-related features, and, perhaps, worship it, a process takes place metaphysically. By this process, the charge/energy the human beings are placing on that object with their Consciousness, might over time be enough to cause the energy of that object to realize itself in Consciousness, sparking the beginnings of a, let’s say, “new” Soul – or at least open up the space for an existing Soul to occupy the newly created ‘vacant space’, if you will.

This is what happened to the statue. This figure gained such a reputation, and was deposited such a degree of attention and expectation by individuals over time, that the energy of the statue eventually came to be. In other words, it became self-aware.

According to what I’m being shown, the name Christine [a name by which the client commented on being called often by others] (in a symbolic sense) refers mainly to the worshipping in the context of the Christian/Catholic Church by which this process took place. It might or might not, also, refer to the specific name attributed to the saintly figure and/or angel originally represented by the statue.

But this is not all.

At the same time, the angelic energy who is today known as Catherine, already existed prior to this process taking place, and up until this event. In other words, the spiritual entity was not ‘created’ by this process, it already existed before it. Nevertheless, this process was, for all effects and purposes, a type of a birth or ‘genesis’ event, if you will, in terms of Catherine being now considered an incarnating Soul with her own Free Will.

Looking from Christina’s “spiritual eyes”, or from the point-of-view of her spiritual self, what happened was that, as the statue was being targeted by the attention, focus, and expectations of the incarnating human followers, a certain “conceptual” energy and charge was formed around the statue itself. This energy corresponded to the views those people had, and held, of what they thought the deity would look like, how she would behave, what blessings she provided, the type of love she had, etc. In other words, they as if created an image… in their own image – personality, character traits, behavior, choices, values, priorities, and so on – that they attributed to the figure. This was the energy accumulated, if you will, “in the statue”.

Angels can, and often do, perform their service of the Light through proximity with the Church and its religious perceptions. This is, quite simply, because those religious perceptions, beliefs, perspectives, etc allow for their proximity, i.e. in the hearts and in the awareness of the individuals aligned with the religion. When a person calls for angels, ex: for Archangel Michael, or “Saint Michael”, while the human might be performing this request under a religious interpretation of what Spirit is and looks like, they nevertheless might be performing a valid, legitimate spiritual request, with spiritual value and intention. This spiritual request does not go unheard, as it holds validity to the Light, and might be one Angels listen to, and attempt to act upon, insofar as it aligns with the designations of the Light Itself, pertaining to how requests should be met (according to the individual’s greatest good, karmic attributes, life lessons, and so on), and if, and how much, the person will spiritually/metaphysically allow the effect to unfold and manifest in their reality.

In the relatively peripheric and isolated nature of the settlement and church where the statue was located, angels were assigned, and present, to serve. One of these angels who served the population who adored the statue, gradually grew closer to the identity being projected towards the statue. This angel would try to please and serve the requests as these were made by people. This is why the requests placed upon the statue, were, in fact, sometimes, listened to and created results.

This one angel, in time, grew enamored both a) with the act of service towards others, and b) with the identity/personification the population placed upon the statue. This angel loved the… love it created on those who saw their prayers and requests answered. Angels are made of Love, and they Love to serve. It’s what they do. So the Angel strongly resonated, and felt strongly, about being able to spark Love and Joy upon those being served. The angel also adored… the adoration he/she received from the people as he/she served them. More and more he/she saw himself as identifying with the personality, traits, and overall image they projected onto the statue.

Over time, the angel willingly was drawn into, and grew closer and closer to, the projected image others would cast on the saintly figure serving them. And, on a whim, she allowed herself to start acting more and more like those she served expected her to, like the idea they made and expected of her. She started behaving and acting like that same projected image, assuming it to herself, “putting on its clothes” so to speak. Again, because she loved the, well, Love, others had for her. This was thrilling, amazing, almost nauseatingly seductive. She as if placed herself as the target for that Love.

The issue with this, is that in getting so close to this situation, the angel started to cater to the person’s requests, made from, and in terms of, their human-level consciousness. In other words, she began wanting to please others, according to their human-level expectations, i.e. the requests as interpreted in a literal sense – as a priority above remaining in integrity and aligned with the directives of the Light.

The Light is the Light. The Light always dictates what is in alignment with a Soul’s greatest good, without exception. However, this might not be apparent at first glance, and only become more obvious over time, in the long-term – and depending on one’s level of awareness perceiving that Light. Sometimes, what serves the person’s greatest good might not even appear to be pleasant or enjoyable. This is where the values of trust (or, in religious terms, faith) come into play: to trust that being in alignment with the Light will always provide safety, protection, and the best possible outcome – even if that outcome might not be understood straight away.

Sometimes, being in spiritual integrity and in alignment with the Light – such as is the case of Angels – might actually involve not participating, not serving, or, serving in a way that in practice happens to unexpected by the human, and/or, it might take more time than the human is willing to understand he needs to wait. And this remains true and valid even if the human doesn’t completely understand the reasons for it to be so. Often, that may actually be the point: how can you foster trust in Spirit, if you were to be aware of all of the outcomes already?

This is why, while the Light wants to serve the human beings in their greatest good, the human beings also must ideally be in a state of humility and opening towards the Light, to still allow Its designations, which they may not understand, but are still for their actual greatest good, to come forth and take effect.

However, as the angel started catering to the requests of the humans, she started focusing more in giving them what they wanted, as they had asked, and focusing less in remaining in integrity with the Light. She started to avoid putting forth answers and measures in response to requests, that could be received by the human in an unpleasant manner, or with an unfavorable interpretation – even if those were the most adjusted responses to requests made.

In doing so, she was now developing, well, Free Will: she was now, in practice, choosing to sometimes offer Light and sometimes not; whether to do so or not. Or, offering service in a way that was biased, or “modified”, in comparison with the original directive from the Light. Or, intervening even when that was not meant to happen. The angel was afraid of displeasing, causing discontent, on those she served. One part of this was Angel’s natural and sometimes extreme affinity with Love, and consequent extreme sensitivity towards the human experiences of lack of Love, pain, and suffering. She didn’t want o cause pain or discontent on those she served. Additionally, was also somewhat attached to the idea of being Loved – and was increasingly reluctant to do anything that challenged the follower’s affection towards the figure of the statue. She started acting more and more “on her own”.

However, the moment the angel placed the priority of pleasing others above remaining in integrity with the Light, she allowed for the possibility of becoming misaligned with the Light, at points, in certain circumstances. This is called Free Will: the ability to make choices that may result in your energy becoming either closer or more aligned, or farther away, misaligned, with the Light.

Technically speaking, Angels do not have Free Will – at least not like human beings incarnating do, at least not in performing their service. Angels are at all times immersed in pure Love and in the Light of Source, and as such, they do not choose “if”, “when”, or “how” to act in order to serve someone’s greatest good – such is dictated by the Light. They simply serve, purely altruistically, to the best of their ability, according to the directives of the Light, in each situation.

As a result, by engaging with, and developing her Free Will, the angel started developing a human-consciousness ‘coat’, or ‘mantle’, surrounding her core essence, composed of all the considerations and expectations others had of her, and she needed to abide by, in exchange for their love.

Over time, the ‘human consciousness coat’ around her continued to develop by this process, until eventually, it “became” (figuratively speaking) an actual human body. At which point she was a human being, incarnating with a physical body on Earth. Her core essence was still very much aligned with the Angelic Realms; but now there was an overlay of human nature around her, which made her start to incarnate – because the human level of awareness was now what she now resonated with.
